Here are the rest, sorry I didn't really get a chance to go through the whole show.

Nice. I went to the D.C. auto show a few weeks ago. Ferrari had a 599 in a kind of bronze/gold color... looked AMAZING. Not keen on the murcie in battleship grey though..

Those are some nice pics. Anyone else not like the Audi (R8 I think, can't remember.) Something about it looks off to me.

Actually, I didn't like it at all when I first saw the press release, but in person it's a very nice color. It looks flat but it's really a metallic paint.

It's not just you, I am okay with the rear end, and I love how the engine looks under the window but the rest of the car just seems kind of plain jane to me, and not a big fan of the side without the carbon fiber part to set it off.

Really guys??? I love that car, I think it would better in black with the CF strip, the interior is amazing (sorry no pics) and the rear end is so sweet

Well you have to look at it in the context you presented it in, next to a bunch of exotics. If you put it next to an H2 and a Caravan then hell yeah, love that car! :lol2:

Hey, I still have that car on the short list for my DD. Pretty sure I'm going with the AM Vantage, but I want to test drive the R8 first.

I think I'd get the R8 before the Vantage, the R8 engine sound and having it visible under the back glass is definitely what does it for me.

I know. But this is for my DD, and I like the classy look of the Vantage. Audi service would be easier for me, as the dealer is 15 minutes away on US19, instead of North Tampa.

I can also totally customize the AM (many many more options there compared to the Audi). Really get my dream color and dream interior.

My big concern with the R8 is that it will rapidly be orphaned by the introduction of the Gallardo V10 engine. I can see the depreciation being a killer if that happens. In 2-3 years, this might be the car to get. Don't know about now, though.

Yeah that's a good point; whatever happened with that AJGlobal thread on LP about opening the bypass on the exhaust? I got banned about the time that it was getting interesting.

We did that to our demo Gallardo and an LP640, sounds incredible!!!!!

I've been thinking about doing that hose disconnect on my '06 to keep it open all the time, there's an easy article on how to do it but I can't seem to find it now.
