Was just reading a local Tampa auto forum and saw that they have an informal get together every Tuesday night around 8 PM at the Sonic on Bearss and Livingston:

Looks to be mostly tuners and imports but I'm sure they wouldn't mind a Lambo hanging out if anyone is out and about and wanted to get a burger. I'll probably try to pop in there this week and see what's up if I'm around that night since it's only about two miles from my house.
Thats pretty close to me too, let me know if you're going and i'll stop by.

What's up Brandon, welcome to the board! I'm going to go ahead and commit to heading up there guys, so if you want to meet up, let's plan on it, maybe 8:30 PM? The spyder is really dirty right now after getting caught in the rain last weekend so bite me. Brandon, let us scope it out this week and see what the event is like, I'll post a review here regardless so you can see if it's worth your time. I have a feeling the Saturday night one over on Dale Mabry somewhere is probably heavier trafficed but sounds like both places might be serving heavy portions of rice. :)

Alright sounds good, you guys check it out, and if it's lame like the "meets" around here with '89 Civics trying to do burnouts between speed bumps, then I'll pass. Be safe out there though, kids get crazy when it comes to exotica!

Okay, let's do it, 8:30 PM at the Sonic on Bearss and Livingston, hopefully I won't get ate up by some 133t Civ1c running 80 pounds of boost and a 12 inch muffler. I'm going to be pushing to get there by 8:30 so can't meet up beforehand. :) I'll probably be able to hang out about 30 minutes, lots of work to do that this board seems to be keeping me from doing, lol.

alright, 8:30 at sonic. I'll probably be there a little early say 10-15mins so lambo freak, if you're going look out for either a big red jeep or a silver audi tt. and we'll know when dave arrives lol

Brandon, you're not driving from Orlando for this one buddy, there was probably ten cars there tops, not a great turnout. Couple of the guys were really knowledgeable about their cars, wheels, camber, boost controllers, brakes, etc., so that was cool but the other cars were pretty much stock with some interior bling and go fast ground effects.
Although I got to meet Matt on here so that was cool, been talking with him about cars for the past six months between here and LP but had never met him.

I know Matt does, I'm horrible but enjoy it anyway. I think March is going to be crazy with multiple events going on like Festival of Speed, a Chin Motorsports track weekend, Cars & Coffee, etc. but I'm going to try to put something together for early April where we can do some kind of exotic drive, just a couple hours on the weekend, we could end it up at some kind of bar/pub/pool hall, etc.
Dave, great to meet you finally, first of many im sure. As you say, there are a few events comming up in march local to us. Brandon, i do play pool... a lot. so if you're ever in town let me know and we can hit up the pool hall.
as for tonight, turnout was... pittyfull, one supra, 2 evos and other random rice. everyone was pretty into the supra, until dave showed up and pissed all over that guys lime light lol. Dont think i'll be going out of my way to go again any time soon. although next time could be better once word spreads that "there was a sick lambo at the last meet".

I'm better than average at pool, but im no pro. i usually go to the pool hall 3 or 4 times a week, just because its open till 3am and theres not much else to do at that time.
Very true, there are bigger fish in the sea, this time it just happened to be a lamborghini.

I used to be good at pool, because I worked at a sports bar where the manager would open up a pool table and give me free play from the time I got off until the time we closed (usually a good two hours a night).
Since then my skills have wained some, but I'm always up for a game :D

Hey guys, I'm Carlos and new to the forum. I just wanted to interject after the post about the Wing House. There is one MUCH closer than the one on Hillsbrough (well, "closer" is a relative term, but I am refering in terms of the USF area), and that is the one in Brandon (301 and I-4 right next to the fair grounds).
If you guys do decide to meet up, I'll try to sneak out that way and take some photos!
BTW, PDISME, thanks for the heads up on the forum!
