Hey everyone - this is my 1st post to TalkLambo - so just thought I'd open a thread about my experience re-upholstering a super rare 1971 Miura P400 SV in Los Angeles.

9 years years I had the privilege to get commissioned by Jon Pollock Restorations in Los Angeles to re-upholster a 1971 Miura P400 SV owned by Nicholas Cage.

Yes, Nicholas Cage, the famous Hollywood movie star!

I fully restored her original black interior with only the world's finest leather and fabrics, per Mr. Cage's request. He was very easy to work with, not like many Hollywood celebs ...

Anyway, fast forward to last week, because my friend Jon Pollock called me to say the very same * 1971 Miura P400 SV * rolled into his shop for some mechanical work.

I quickly drove over to his shop to take my pictures, and was pleased to see the restored interior is still in very good shape.

9 years ago I was a fool not to take pictures of my upholstery work on this rare Lambo. So naturally when Jon called me last week I was thrilled to have a 2nd chance to take pics!!

So tonight - for TalkLambo fans - I present pics of Nicholas Cage's former 1971 Miura P400 SV - and my handiwork restoring its interior.

Enjoy! And feel free to share with your Lambo friends when you visit this page:

Fantastic work on that car Rafi; a real work of art brought back to how it should look. How long did the work take from start to finish?

6-7 months to do the body and 1-2 months for the interior
