Sweet car Kirk, welcome to the board! How much power is she making? I've always liked Supras, plus you have the added bonus of Ferrari ripping off it's looks for the 599 :)

Its in the low 400 range at the moment on the stock twins:

I am backed up on 2JZ projects here at the shop, but once I am caught up I will be installing my GT4276 setup and after that the power goal will be 900+rwhp.

Does the stock tranny/half-shafts handle that or do you have to beef everything up at that point?

That is DEFINITELY one of the nicest Supra's I've EVER seen. Utmost respect and welcome to the board. Car looks AMAZING.

Stock 6SP has been known to take 1400+rwhp, aswell as the stock axles.
The only thing needed to be changed at those power levels to be safe on the drag strip would be the drive shaft. The stock drive shaft is known to twist up like a pretzel. :)
Take a look at a video of a stock transmission 6SP supra (all videos are the same car):

That car is driven on the street aswell...
Here is another car at about the same power level being driven on the street:

See, that's what I had originally thought, but I couldn't find any shot of the non wide-body front end. Looks super hot! I read that you have a shop of sorts... what's the name and what's the specialty?
Very nice Kirk. One of the few japanese cars I like, RX7 of course as well.
I like the fact that you have a subtle effects kit. dont see too many supras.

Yeah you really don't, I'm not sure why that is, how many were made?
7,866 to be exact.
326 Hard tops only, 21 in 1995, only 3 were Red. ;)

See those are the kind of stats I like.
There were only 2801 of my 2003 Acura 3.2CL Type-S made in six speed configuration, and only 763 in my color combination. They only made two less of the Miura :D

A few years ago, I bought this thing (1997 Anniversary 6spTT)on a lark and gave it to Rod Millen's for a mild upgrade. It had about 450HP when I got it back. I later sold it to a friend who does not drive it. I might buy it back (for a premium I am sure !)

Better, depends what you want. Yes it would be better to spend that kind of money on a NEW car with warranty and all and new tech. But low miles Supras are becoming collector cars, in a few years, stock Supras with under 10k miles will easily go for over 100k. IMO if your buying a Supra just because you want one and you like it, the miles should not bother you that much, its a Toyota after all and it can take lots of mileage...

100k?!?!!? Please tell me you're joking. They're nice cars yes, collectors cars? No. You're basically saying a Supra will appreciate in value more than 100% from it's as-new price? Is there something I don't know that's going to cause 80% of them to explode but the rest will be fine?

Extremely low miles(Under 10k) have gone for over 75k...and im talking even modified cars here. Stock low miles Supras go for even more money, and the value of those low mile cars are rising very fast. Might sound crazy, but thats how it is.

It was for the red car, I'll be taking the car down for the changes Around late January or so, just been busy here @ work lately (avg. 80 hr weeks). We already got my Fiance's car up and running on her turbo setup (same as I am putting into mine), here is a shot of her car:
