got the best story here . Sold my 97 sv last summer to a car broker in Canada ( Steve Mamann of Prancing horse ) for $117k with 30,000 on the odo . Mileage was actually in kilos since it was originally a Canadian car . I still have my e-bay listing stored in my favorites that states the milage . Steve then flipped the car to ZR AUTO in Canada . It is still for sale there as a matter of fact( Click here: ZR Exotic Auto Sales and Leasing / Lamborghini Diablo SV ). Its the 97 Yellow sv w/ blk wing . After the sale i was curious to see where my car was for sale in Canada and searched around and found it . It was listed for 16k kilos !!!!!!!! I immediately contacted ZR AUTO and made hime aware of the real milage of the car being the previous owner . He said he bought it with that milage on the ODO . I dont know exactly who is at fault for turning back the milage but after i made a stink about it and posts on F-chat . It was then returned on the listing for the 30k miles it actually has . I couldnt believe it . I felt bad that someone was going to get ripped off like that and tried to do what ever i could to make the public aware . ZR then asked me if i still had my ebay listing and Steve's e-mails to me through e-bay about the car , i did and sent them right over to him . Thats when the car came off his site for a short while and then suddenly returned with the correct milage . If you would have run a car fax you would have seen the correct milage anyway . There was a milage discrepency due to the fact that the car was inspected in kilos one time and miles another , but made him full aware of that before he(steve) even bought the car from me . I contacted the bbb of Canada who then told me to go to phone busters of the Canadian Police and i got no where with that . I was told , not sure if its even true, that milage tampering in Canada is not looked at the same way it is here in the states .For that matter i would NEVER EVER buy a car that was Canadian or came through Canada at one time . All in all the correct info for consumers was then posted and i felt that atleast justice was done to some degree . I even got e-mails from individuals that wanted to remain annonomous that stated that they to were taken by Steve M and were glad that i was doing what i was doing . I guess the moral here is that you can never do to much research on a purchase of an exotic and research every car as much as possible before you ever buy a thing !!!!!
