The ultimate car guy... but seriously... he needs to update his wardrobe. It seems like when he's talking cars, he's always wearing the Canadian Tuxedo. Either way... I wish I could spend the day in that garage driving those cars around...:beerchug:

Well, wouldn't you wear what you found comfortable? He probably works on his cars in that stuff, and since that's pretty much all he does besides doing the Tonight Show/Standup in a suit, he probably doesn't want to wear much else :D

Ok, comfort is one thing, but at least get the denim shirts in a few other colors so you can mix it up a bit. :lol2:

Seems like a lot of ultra successful people wear the same thing over and over almost as if it's a uniform. Like Jay, Steve Jobs, Google guys, sports players - maybe a luck thing?

That would be different; I'm surprised Jay just doesn't wear some customized coveralls or something like a mechanic uniform. :) Steve Jobs, Google, Gates, etc.; maybe their issue is they're nerds and don't like shopping. :lol2:

I like how he said to drive it regularly and it will run fine and not be a garage queen.

Because that would be way more expensive than a denim long sleeve shirt. That Tonight Show money isn't going to last forever! :D
I just think it's amazing how he's never touched the principal of his Tonight Show money, and buys all those cars off what he made/makes doing standup and interest.

Not sure how much he does it anymore but for a while he was doing standup in Vegas just about every weekend as well as weeks he was off from the tonight show; he's a hard workin' guy. I've never seen him live (vegas) but I'd like to if I happen to be there at the right time.
well, just thought i'd point out that, he has no excuse for wearing all that denim, as he doesnt even work on the cars himself... he employs a team of mechanics and fabricators to keep things running smoothly.

Jay Leno doesn't need an excuse, he's Jay Leno; when it comes to cars, that's kind of like I'm Rick James bitch! :lol2:

Actually he does work on the cars, he does little day to day things like changing oil and things of that nature. He's a car guy through and through. But yeah, he had some help turning a front wheel drive Olds Toronado into a twin turbo RWD beast.

That's not amazing, it's amazing that people pay Jay Leno $100k to come talk to their corporate big wigs over lunch; not that Jay isn't a great and funny guy, but more power to these people who command such large fees just to talk to others. I wish someone would pay me to talk to them. :lol2:

Yeah, I'm working on getting involved in that racket. Become a motivational speaker for five year olds, they wouldn't care, as long as I kept the parents happy the money would keep rolling in.
