Pearl White SE

What do you guys think, looks cheesy and I should stick to the yellow or orange?

Id rather have one thats not that screaming but if pearl white will look stupid or make the car look cheap id rather not do it.

So whats your take on pearl white the SE gallardo that is

Got any pics? Personally I'm not a huge fan of yellow but yellow SE's are nice since they have the black accent down the back. I feel the same about pearl white and even the orange like mine actually, in non-SE form I don't like the looks of them, too much of one color; I have a spyder so it doesn't have the black bonnet but it has a black top, or no top of it's down. Given an equal yellow and pearl white I might be inclined to go pearl white, although I'd still go with orange as my primary choice, and verde ithaca in SE form as a second before the other colors.

thanks guys, it does not have navigation but a guy who retrofits cars told me he can get the parts to make the navigation work as it has all the buttons but not the chip or the antenna

I love all those colors in the folloing order green (hard to find usually most expensive) orange and yellow (to many yellows out there)

he said something about having to order special parts from audi and he said hes done it to gallardos before its a custom shop here in ny

ill have to double check and triple check again because nav is a key feature for me

hahaha all my friends tell me the same thing but ill just feel more comfortable next to more of a quiet color, I test drove the yellow in nyc a place where you see lamborghinis yet still people stopping taking photos and so on

yeah same hard choice here there is a se for sale pearl white in tx and a se real white in vegas both 06 one with 1100 miles approx one with 6000 miles approx

need to decide soon as they dont last althou they always pop up sooner or later but with the summer here I dont want to wait that long

thanks thats was my other color orange maybe after a few months in this ill be able to not be so shy and get an orange one after all lambo is knows for orange and yellow black is nice too but it hides lots of the lines and detail

The One at Caesar Palace is Pearl White , very nice indeed but has 7100 miles , close to the first service and I noticed that the car has racing compound tires.

That car has done some serious track probably and on my opinion thats not something I would love on my car , Possible abuse of Brakes and Clutch. both can be a pretty expensive bill.

Pearl white has that hint of other colors in it that regular white doesn't; more depth, definitely better white than plain.

what is the paint code for balloon white? i tried calling 2 of the chicago area dealerships, and neither wanted to help. one guy even said there was no paint code, they just mix up paint to match it eventually...

reason i'm asking? simple. i would like to repaint my car in that great color. remember, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...
here's what happened -- driving back to chicago at night, after winning Best Wild Scion at Hot Import Nights Dallas, i hit a blown semi tire that was right in the middle of the lane. it damaged my entire front and left side skirt area.
decided now would be the best time to repaint the entire car in the color i most want -- getting rid of the red stripe as well

If Pam202 is in a cooperative mood, she could go out to her balloon white Gallardo and look at the underside of the hood on the passenger's side of the car, it has the PPG paint code listed that you'll need. :)

Yeah, somewhere I think maybe edmunds or something has an interview with Lamborghini and they said in essence the skittle colors sell best, yellow #1.

Friend of mine used my Balloon SE as the inspiration for his JTI but had the painter change the mix slightly to make it more white.

I could be mistaken but I believe that car was from Brooklyn, NY. The members on www.exoticsrally.com will have more info on it - I've seen pics that a member there took & posted.

A few members on this forum are from exotics rally & might chime in here. Good luck
