Now what is it that makes the drivers/owners continue to race even in conditions like that? I'm not that familiar with the world of auto racing other than what I hear on the news which here in FL is 100% nascar. Are there points to be lost by not racing, etc.?

Not only that but i saw a shot of a couple of tires and they looked like racing slicks, instead of rain tires. I have had experience driving in the rain with street legal slicks and i will tell you its like ice skating.

But yea, what an expensive mess.:cry:
