I think I'm going to try to come to this in June; even with the 90 minute drive, the start at 10 AM would still let me wake up later than I have to for the local C&C and then I get a good lunch out of it too. :)

Not a bad idea. Hows the turn out in orlando, as far as high end exotics go? BMW, Porsche etc not included.

It varies on who decides to get up that day. The one time I went there was an F40, Testarossa, 360CS, no Lambos though. Oh, also there was this sweet stock Dodge Magnum there, I tried to get a ride but no luck.


Should be a good turnout with the lunch reservation, they've never had that before.

Bump for the 2 day away warning. It's on Saturday this time, just a reminder.

The mix of cars do change, as people like to bring out different cars. We've had a few Lambos, a number of F-cars. We should have a Noble or two at this meet. Don't forget the awesome Exige!

I'm pretty sure he meant regardless of weekend he'd be sleeping in since it's out there instead of down here. :slap:

that wouldn't make sense. get up early as all hell to come to the tampa one, then sleep in for the local one? btw shouldn't you be driving?

Story of my life; been dealing with bullshit all afternoon and evening trying to get ready so I could go get some sleep before getting on the road, now it's midnight and I haven't even slept yet. Not sure what I'm going to do yet, probably should sleep some before trying the 9 hour drive.

yeah, probably not the best idea to drive for 9 hours... by yourself, if you're tired.

That made me chuckle. He's going to a race track with what is basically a carbon fiber go-kart with a motorcycle engine strapped to the back. Nothing about that says safe! :D

Yep, if I'm here I will; just keep in mind that there's a female passenger clause in the contract, so if at any time prior to the event a hot female wants to go too, the management reserves the right to revoke your boarding pass. :grinning-smiley-003
