Hovik is putting something together, just FYI:

I'm putting together the Lamborghini Gathering on May 20th. Its going to be held at Floyd Bennett Field, right next to the JFK airport.
Floyd Bennett Field is an old airport landing strip turned into a park. They usually allow car shows there, but only at designated parking lots, never on the runways. After some negotiations and agreements I got the permit to hold the show on one of the runways. The requirements they had was no speeding and I have to pay 2 police officers to be there for "crowd control". I agreed and we are good to go for May 20th.

Attached you'll find a map of the park and where exactly the meeting will be held.

Start - 10:00 AM.

I'm going to have a couple of professional photographers there and also a couple of models to photograph with the cars. All the pictures will be made available to the owners of the cars for no cost. Its just done for fun.

Lamborghini of Bergen County is one of the sponsors of the event and they will be setting up a booth with light refreshments for everybody. I have full support of all Lamborghini dealerships of the area, who are going to inform their customers about the event. I'm shooting to make this the biggest Lamborghini Gathering of Tristate area ever. Its going to be alot of fun!

Depart - 1:00 PM

Since the park regulations make it a nightmare to set up a BBQ or any kind of food serving there, we'll have a short scenic group drive (about an hour) to a restaurant for brunch. The route and the restaurant information will be disclosed later. I'm working on getting a police escort to the restaurant.

The event is open to all visitors. Everybody is more than welcome to come and check out the incredible line up of amazing cars that we'll have there. Just obay the park rules and be respectful.

I already have over 15 Lamborghinis signed up for this event, including Countach's, Diablos, Murcielagos and Gallardos. Working on getting a Miura. If you know of anybody that owns a Lamborghini I'd appreciate if you inform them about the event.

For any further information, comments or to sign up feel free to reply to this thread, PM me or email me with your contact information - HovikG@Optonline.net

Sure... If I did go back and forth alot I would try to do something, but the last time was in March and all I did was party...
Its a bummer though for Florida guys... You guys pretty much have 12 months of driving weather. Don't have to tuck the cars away or be scared of salt getting under your cars... Getting together to drive should be a weekly thing for you... oh well.

PikeMike's been putting some big events together in South FL, over here in Tampa/St. Pete there's only about 15 Lambo's total and I think only about four of us drive them regularly so it's more difficult. :)

yeah, plus you're always at race weekends so its hard for us to go out to such events, not much point in me going without you seeing as you have the lambo. :lol2:
