It's not a street car, big wing is pimp on a race car!

On a lambo though!? is that REALLY necessary?

It doesn't have enough rear downforce without it. I think they make them large rather than smaller and at a sharper angle so that it doesn't interfere as much with top speed on straights. I think I read somewhere that F1 used to allow wings that could adjust while in motion but then required they be fixed at some point.

They commented on the size of the RGT's wing during the last FIA GT race. They mentioned that has to be making enormous amounts of torque and power to be able to pull that wing down the straights compared to the wing of the MC12.
At any rate, I would be happy to never see a Lamborghini race in Super GT again. It's rather embarrassing. Two Murcielagos and two Gallardo racing in the GT300 (read: 300bhp) category against turbo charged Celicas. They are not even in the premier class. That is ridiculous. Not a win I would brag about.
