Both of these are for sale. Can't decide which would be more fun to drive at Sebring, Homestead, etc.. Both really are for sale, and obtainable.
This one, which Jeff Gordon won his first road race with:

Or this one. Raced in Indy 500, came in 5th.

I'd go with the first one, it comes with all those sponsors, the second one runs on batteries so probably not a good track day car. :)
How much for those by the way?

$125K OBO for Jeff Gordon's car,
$65K for Alex Barron's Indy car.

Hmm, what is Alex's car? Looks kind of like a formula mazda but I'd guess not at that price, that's about double a formula mazda price.

It's a 2002 Dallara Indy Car. Chevy Indy engine. Won the race at Nashville, 5th at the 2002 Indy 500.

Well, since I am extremely anti-NASCAR, I'd go with the second one.

Probably the only thing going for the first one is that it would be easier to maintain, other than that, second one all the way. Although for the $60k price diff, you could pay someone for 60 track days to maintain the second one even if the first one were easier. :) That would be pretty funny to see that big ol' thing going around sebring though.

Either one, I would imagine, would cause jaws to drop at Sebring.

But only one for the wrong reasons :D

The Indy car wouldn't draw that much attention, there are typically a few cars that look like that there on any given track day, it would just be going faster than them. :) Well that might make it draw some attention in the pits after it comes back in.
The nascar though, I can see a lot of WTF?'s when that goes around. :lol2:

Yeah, I bet you're right. Plus, if I make contact with other cars, I can put on that Good 'Ol Boy SEG and say "That's racing, boy."

If it had an Energizer bunny on it, I'd go for it in a minute.
What I'd really like would be one of the M&M NASCAR cars. I'll take an old Elliott Sadler model, especially the one with the Dark Chocolate M&M/Darth Vader logos.

I think it would be pretty funny to see the Viagra car at Sebring. :lol2: :lol2:

Yeah, but I'm not going to be the one driving it. Poor Mark Martin. How humiliating that must have been.

Although that would be an easy excuse if he ever got caught with any; damn sponsor left it there. :lol2: :lol2:
I definitely have to say the indy car. After racing formula 3000 a few times, I got quite fond of that style of body. It just looks so much more badass. Nascar = zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
