Anyone know of any southeast HPDE events that have skid pad access? I'd really love to find a nice open area I can intentionally spin the Radical so I can work on recovery.

Seriously - let's rent a kart and head to the track.

Still waiting for the kart guy to post up so we know how it all works, rates, etc. :) I could probably sneak down to Palmetto this weekend if you want to hit it, I could probably tow the trailer down there too if you want to do that throttle cable; Jamie is driving Roebling Road tomorrow and Chris is giving him the cable to bring back to me so I'll have it this week. I want to spin something; after doing it in the Radical I was kind of relieved to have had it happen since I was worried about what it would be like, but now I'd like to be more prepared.

Just do what we did as kids. Just wait for that good snowy day, and head to the Sears parking lot on a Sunday when they are closed. :lol2:

My dad was pretty good at drifting our station wagon in the snow when I was a kid. :)
