I have been checking every once in a while and the website is finally up.

I'll have to see if I can check it out soon!

Small but nice inventory.

Think I can check it out if I end up going to the Powerboat races down in Sarasota this weekend! (Although a 4,000 hp Twin Lycombing jet engine powered boat might steal some attention)

Well, the guy from Lambo Sarasota that we met last month at cars & coffee is already no longer there; that might explain why I never heard back from him with info on the event that is supposed to be this Friday with Balboni. I called down there today and got a receptionist who didn't know who was handling the event or anything about it but confirmed she had heard that there was something going on Friday evening; said she'd try to find out more and call me back, never happened. I submitted an email query via their website asking about it, no response to that yet either.

So... perhaps nothing is happening Friday or maybe Balboni and the staff will be hanging out by themselves since they don't seem to be advertising the event and can't give anyone info about it.

Joe gone already? Wow! Maybe he was the one that scratched the LP Roadster on the way out of the show...:lol2:.

Yeah that would explain why I didnt hear anything either, I had emailed him and texted him. Just figured he was blowing me off cause I was a young guy or something... guess not

Yeah they aren't advertising any part of the dealership very well. from the location, inventory, or events... Need to work on that!

Yea I doubt anything's happening. There are no blatant advertisements even UP in Sarasota yet. I try to go down there at least twice a week to see possible new inventory or any kind of real functions. It's nice not having to drive over two hours to see a multitude of Lambo's in a small area. Lulz

They are having an event tonight, I'm trying to make it down if I can, 6 to 9 pm. I spoke to one of the partners there about it, sounds like it will be good. I really want to check out their service shop to see if I can start going there instead of Orlando, since my Murci has been in Orlando for four weeks as I type this with no idea when it will be done.

Which partner did you speak to? Victor or Larry?

What's being done to the Murci?

What's being done to the Murci?

Just got it back today, 4.5 weeks later. Had the 15k mile service done which is all fluids, fuel system clean, air filter, particulate filter, some washers and seals, cleaned the throttle bodies to fix a rough idle issue, removed and re-applied the very worn clear bra, sanded and re-sprayed the lower side of the front bumper where removing the old clear bra pulled off some paint from a previous respray after parking curb damage from a previous owner, diagnosed issues with the ignition coils and tried to charge me $2000 too much to replace them (I purchased through a different source instead), diagnosed issue with the passenger mirror not extending without a little helping nudge and wanted to charge me $3500 since they "only sell the mirror pod as a complete unit", I instead ordered just the mirror glass and motor for $150 through another source who evidently knows how to not order it as a complete unit (the reason for the glass is because if you don't mind breaking the current glass, it makes it a ten minute repair job by breaking the glass, dropping in the new motor and putting the new glass back in its place), diagnosed an issue with the rear left shocks sticking a little which sets off the active suspension error light and wanted to charge $6500 to replace the shocks which I declined for further diagnosis elsewhere. :) I'm picking up the new ignition coils to self-install tomorrow; evidently the previous owner let some water get into the old ones during washing, etc. and the contacts are rusted and contributing to the idle issue. The new coils are a redesigned coil pack from Lambo which has been altered to be more water resistant, although I always cover the engine when I wash the car anyway.

Wow sounds like it was an expensive ordeal. Glad you evaded unnecessary charges. dealers count on lack of knowledge... usually it works. I hope its running like a champ now( or will be after the coils)

I showed up to the event, not knowing it was a shirt &tie/suit ordeal, in a sweatshirt. OOps. It was ok... talked to the a few employees.

The showroom is currently under new construction. They're planning on building a personal road for the dealership since it's in the back lot of the Sarasota BMW dealership, away from civilization. Lol. Can't wait for the next few months to roll by to see what's done. As far as servicing, I've heard rumors of there being a Lambo Service Center in downtown Sarasota. Have yet to go see for myself.
