Gas station gripes

Two things really piss me off at gas stations:


At $3/gallon, you can only get 16 gallons before you reach $50, yet some gas stations still have that $50 cut-off on pay at the pump, then they piss you off even more by the pump refusing to take the same card again to let you finish filling up (since my truck takes about 12 more gallons than that), then they go beyond that and make you tell them how much more you want when you go inside so you have to make up a number, go finish up and then come back in a second time for a credit back. :wtf: :wtf:
Gas stations that remove the auto thing so you have to sit there and hold the pump handle.

well, i feel ya on the second one, because i hate that too. I think they started doing that as a safety thing.
Obviously the whole over $3 thing sucks. because my car takes premium and sucks through gas like theres no tomorrow. But then... you have that same problem... x3 :lol2:

All the gas stations around here don't have the little handle holder. Pisses me off to no end to have to stand there for three minues doing nothing.

I should start putting zip ties on the handle to make it hold for me, probably dangerous though since you wouldn't be able to turn the pump off.

Pepto Bismol 4 oz $3.85 ..... $123.20 per gallon

Whiteout 7 oz $1.39 ......... .. $25.42 per gallon

Scope 1.5 oz $0.99 .$84.48 per gallon

And this is the REAL KICKER...

Evian water 9 oz $1.49..........$21.19 per gallon?!
$21.19 for WATER

And the buyers don't even know the source. (Evian spelled backwards is Naive.)

So, the next time you're at the pump, be glad your car doesn't run on water, Scope, or Whiteout, or God forbid Pepto Bismol or Nyquil.

Petrol prices here in NZ are around $1.89 NZD per litre at the moment, which works out to around $5.51 USD per gallon.....Wow thats a lot.

The prices in England are 8.40 USD for a gallon of petrol and diesel is 9.20 USD

Remember the good old days when it was less than a dollar...oh and 18MM was apparently a lot of money lol. Almost makes sense to tune my car for 103/106 for a buckfiddy more up in norcal hehe

I wish...i think we are a little numb out here in cali. My colleague was showing me some of his family real estate in santa monica on the way back to LAX yesterday. After a while the zeroes just blend together i guess :lol2:
