In case you haven't spent enough money on the watches themselves, Bentley has teamed up with Stockinger safes to bring you the luxury watch safe. Available in any of Bentely's exterior colors, you'll also have a choice of leather interior and a choice of 3 different wood veneers. supposedly impenetrable, but just in case, it also has a built in GPS... oh and it will also wind your ridiculously expensive watches for you too.

I have to say, as safes go, its quite sexy. and really worth it if you're a collector of luxury watches like pateks and AP

Holy crap, that's kinda cool!!!!! I don't collect watches, but I would buy one of those if I owned a bunch of high end ones.

Does anyone know how automatic winders affect watches?, I get conflicting answers. Also, that safe looks amazing but I am not sure i like the practicallity of it. I keep my "investment" watch at the bank

BenNU: i'm "pro" auto-winders. i think the old argument was "over-winding" or the "jittering" of the piece. i never had a problem...then again, i rotate every other day or so between 3.

btw, i have a $100 pos winder/jewelery box i got at the local PX a while back.

Thanks for the info vchon, my fellow g Wagen brethren. I rotate between 2 daily wear watches. One of them is a manual wind and the other is a fully automatic and I constantly worry that one of them is going to underwind.

Overwinding is probably going to depend a lot on the manufacturer of the movement, some may be better designed to not have issues once maximum tension on the spring that stores the reserved power is reached.
