Cars & Coffee 04/21
Third saturday of every month is Dupont's Cars and Coffee. The event starts early at 7am and goes until approx 9am.
Great turn out last month, lets rep the Bull and get as many lambos as possible as its mainly F-cars every month.

I've seen up to eight Ferrari's once, never been more than three Lambo's. Last month I had high hopes with Vroom showing up but then Larry didn't bring out the Countach, IceDemon didn't have his Diablo back yet, etc. I'm going to keep trying to encourage the locals to bring them.

I wish I had a Lambo to appear in. :/. Someday I will. I swear it. But it's good to keep my dreams alive with things like this. Thanks pdisme for inviting me.
you dont have to have a lambo or a ferrari to go. thats the whole point. Get up at the asscrack of dawn on a saturday and spend the morning checking out nice cars.

Yeah, dave was talking to one of the guys from dupont. They dont like it to be that early either, but if they made it later they'd run into problems with locations. you saw last time, businesses start to open and everybody has to move/leave. It really does suck for you though because you have to get up EXTRA early :lol2:

I'm used to being up early. School in Sarasota starts at 7:30 AM and I'm up at 5:45.

I can't believe i'm awake. Woke up at 5:30, just stepped out of the shower. Once again my devotion to exotic cars has me up at the ass crack of dawn. See you guys in a about an hour... dave probably more like an hour and a half. :lol2:

Pretty decent turnout. Not quite as good as last month as far as quality of cars goes i'd say, but definitly drawing a larger crowd each month. Lots of pics to follow shortly...

Overall it was an 'okay' turnout; got a few Talk Lambo people there, me, Matt, Zzzdoc, Shuey2k, unfortunately I was the only Lamborghini there this week, no Lambo Larry Countach and Zzzdoc's Murci is getting its annual checkup. There were of course many Ferrari's, and their owners made sure to let everyone know that: :lol2:

Couple notable pics include Matt in front of a Ford F650 Super Crewzer; keep in mind he's 6'2" which puts this behemoth at about 9 to 10' tall. It's built for those of you who have a spare 30,000 pounds of stuff in the back yard to tow around and holds 130 gallons of diesel. :lol2:

Then of course there was also someone we dubbed Viper Man; he arrived in his Viper, revved it up about 130 times getting into the parking spot, then his assistant arrived in a separate car carrying the Viper's assortment of 4th place (seriously) no-name car show trophies; he provided lots of amusement as he went through his cleaning routine and then got out the lawn chair to stand guard over the car. (Update: I've been told by Minch00 that at a car show in Orlando where he showed up, he actually told people who were positioned behind his car when he was backing in that they would want to move because he could not be held responsible for any hearing damage that may result from his car! He then proceeded to rev it up about 230 times. :fgay:)

Couple pics I noticed on another website from the car show this weekend at Celebration. First is a few models from Makes & Models magazine posing with a Testarossa, but they're not looking all that model-like in my opinion... :)
Second is typical Ferrari FXX without a single ding, dent or spec of dirt on it and surrounded by rope. Then there's a picture of how every other car in the whole place was displayed, with people able to walk around and look. Why is it that the race car looks like it's never left a garage? Do they put a bubble around it when it's on the track? :banghead:
