Damn, he makes $29 million a year?? He sure does not show it off much. I'm going to guess that's estimated gross sales.
Anyway, yeah....he's in big trouble. I think the time has come for Joe to do a little jail time. It's seems he's always getting arrested for drug possession or having some problems with minors. Now he basically told a judge to f-off. That's not wise to say if you value your freedom.
While I agree that a lot of judges think they are God and above the law, and Joe is probably right. You just can't say that shit. Keep your mouth shut and play the game.
Florida law enforcement seems to have a strong dislike for people in the smut game. Like the guy who owned nowthatsfuckedup.com.....well.....he got fucked up. He lived in Polk County, the servers were overseas somewhere I forget.
It was a site no worse than totallycrap.com forum. Just some pervs posting a few smut pics, no big deal. Well somone in that county decided to try to make an example out of the webmaster. They arrested him, took the site (go look at it). I think he got a few years in jail. He got totally screwed.

I don't believe shit that I see in the commercials of course but he does have that one GGW infomercial where he's got the girls washing the fcar and his jet, and they obviously have big tour busses zooming around. He barely skated out of that charge in Panama City Beach where his cronies drugged some underage girls to get them naked, sounds like he might not get out of this one so smoothly.
Supposedly Tampa is porn capital of the east coast, we do have the world famous Mons Venus. :)

I do believe I read somewhere a while back when he got arrested for drug possession, that the jet was a lease or timeshare type thing. I don't think he owns it outright. I could be wrong though.

Yeah, it's just a strip club, actually a somewhat lame one but it's been there forever and a lot of people have heard of it; I think it was in that Motley Crue song. It's a cool one to go to with girls though.

I think they do that when they feel there would not be success on appeal. Joe might be filming some Prisoners Gone Wild episodes with him as the star soon. :)

APRIL 11-- Joe Francis, the "Girls Gone Wild" founder, was indicted today on federal tax evasion charges for illegally deducting more than $20 million in phony business expenses from his 2002 and 2003 corporate tax returns. According to a two count indictment filed in U.S. District Court in Reno, Nevada, Francis, 34, sought to conceal income through the use of offshore companies and nominees. At one point, he transferred $15 million from one offshore bank account to a California brokerage account in the name of a Cayman Islands corporation he controlled. Below you'll find a copy of the indictment filed against Francis, who is pictured in the mug shot at right. If convicted of the federal charges, he faces a maximum of 10 years in prison and fines of up to $500,000. Francis was arrested yesterday on an unrelated federal warrant stemming from a civil lawsuit brought against him by seven underage women who were filmed by "Girls Gone Wild" cameramen in Florida in 2003. The contempt citation was issued after Francis rebuffed a judge's order to settle the case with the aid of a mediator.

You are probably too young to remember but there was a club that I used to frequent quite a bit called the Tanga Lounge. Ooohh man, this was the best club ever back in the late '80's. No alcohol served but you could always discreetly carry in a bottle. Full nude body contact for one song segment cost $20.00 but you could always get the value pack of 3 songs for $40.00.
Every time I was in Tampa for a business trip, I would stay across the street at the Hyatt Hotel on the causeway, eat at Bern's Steakhouse and then head straight to the Tanga.
Too bad that the place was torn down several years back:cry:

LOL, actually the Tanga burned down under 'suspicious' conditions. :) I'm guessing insurance fraud, but it was definitely a good place.
