What happened? I must have shifted my hands to the left. Anyway, finally got the triple white Countach this morning. Boy, was it sure white. George Evans told me I needed to break the car in for the next 1,000 miles. The car definitely needs TLC. Paint seems like it is in good shape but it definitely needs some makeover in the interior. The white leather interior is in dire need of a redye or something and the gas gauge does not work. The right side remote for the mirror does not adjust and the seat belts do not retract. The car keeps on dying out on first so I do not know whats up with that. George Evans told me that the gas gauge gets stuck on E when the car has been sitting and that nine times out of ten, the gas gauge will come to life after a few hundred miles. Is this correct? Sounds like some kind of bull but he is the expert but it would be reassuring hearing it from some members of this forum if that has any merit to it. The car is extremely difficult to drive and it is almost next to impossible to see the blind spots. It could use a reverse camera. The windows will only open six inches or so and it is extremely claustophobic. I guess I am too spoiled with the modern supercars like the Carrera GT, and LP 640 and Murci Roadsters. All in all, the car is not too bad for a 22 year old car. I just hope that everything would have been operational . It was a big letdown and disappointment that such minor things were not tended to. I know it was not Roy`s fault and it is not the end of the world. I just need to drive the car and find out what else is wrong with the thing and get a list together so I can get them corrected all at the same time. It is a super car to have as a furniture piece. It feels like you are driving a dump truck since it is so loud and if you dont time the clutch right, it will stall on you. All in all, I am glad I got it and am looking forward in breaking this car in. Hopefully, I will get my black/gold 1988 Cpimtacj sjpr;t;u as well. Sorry for the typo on my earlier post.

Yip will be a LOT different to murci's... Welcome to the Character that gave birth to Lamborghini...don't look at them as faults...look at them as character traits that helped define and build a marque with personality :-)

Congrats on the purchase...would love to see pics

I do not know how to post pictures but if you give me your email address, I can forward you over pictures from my camera phone and you can post them for me if you would like. If it is too much trouble, I will post them once I figure it out some day. I agree with your statement. It is super cool to have something that is older but yet modern and is a raw car.

If you click the Reply button instead of typing in the quick reply box, there will be a "manage attachments" button where you can upload the pics. Or just send them to pdisme@talklambo.com and I'll post them for you.

When you click manage attachments, it pops open a new window where you can browse for the images on your computer to upload.

Edit: Gus is sending me pics of all of his cars, which has turned into about 500 emails. :lol2: I'll make a new thread for them all once the emails stop arriving. :)

You do not need side or rear view mirriors...only thing that matters is what is in front of you...and the gas gauge, big deal, when the car stops running....that means you need gas...The seat belt wont retract cause you pulled out to far around your BIG tummy...I can send one of the airline seat belt extenders...that will solve the problem.:beerchug:

Nice meeting you, Dave. It seems most of the moderators in these exotic car forums are Daves. I got banned by a Dave M. from FChat for something that I still dont know what in the Hell I did. Now I banned them and I am here. Please dont take it wrong and by no means do I think you guys take FChat rejects. Glad to be here and hopefully you are a Good Dave not the kind of Daves that ban people for nothing.

No it should be totaly fine....it has no engine and no battery, so you willnot be able to start it and see if anything is wrong...OH and do NOT touch the steering wheels for another 48 hours....the leather spray paint on it is still wet....if the tires go flat again, just replace the holes with superglue, then re-fill with air, holds for about 10-12 days...:fu:

I just amaze myself that I purchased all these cars from you, Roy. I hope God is good to me to giving the disadvantage a chance in life. By the way, Happy Birthday. Hope you enjoy your day. Take off $100.00 from my next car purchase and get yourself a suit.

:lol2: :lol2:

Why does everyone keep on suggesting that I take my skirts off? Is the skirts an aftermarket item or is it like a Hamman kit?
