I want to put the full console back in, ditch the wheels, ditch the Crapmaster exhaust. Other than that its good for now.
Its no Lambo but its my first good car, so give me some time.

Holy geez, a 98 with 28 thousand miles????????????????? That bad boy right there was not driven much. CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very nice. Go get some 275's or 315's on 17" wheels to make the stance look better with the wider tires, but that's about all I would suggest to improve it. That car is a beaut.
Welcome to the F-body family. Do you visit the LS1 boards?
Oh and WHAT THE HELL is going on with the air pump lines???????????? That has obviously been re-routed, so i would do something about that.

The last owner only put 3k miles on it in 3 years. I was like WTF dude Ill have more than that on it by the end of the week. haha
Im not really doing anything with the tires right now. I have Drag Radials for the track that came with it.
Yes Im on some LS1 boards. Where do you think I found the car? haha I bought it from a member of LS1tech.
Ok, ok..drive it like a corvette:lol2:
Ive been driving it daily since I bought it. :headbang:

Wonder if there are any stats on car colors pulled over, and if red does get pulled more, is it because it's red or because people who drive red cars also tend to speed? :)

My first car was red(or Maroon) and I got pulled over 4 times in it(got a ticket 3 of those 4), next one(still have it) was blue havent been pulled over in that one, then this one. Im sure it will happen though. I washed the car yesterday and when its clean it just shines in the sun. Im sure I will have some stories, the amount of attention this car gets is amazing. I wasnt expecting that at all, well since its just a "Mullet Mobile".
Went to the track yesterday and ran a best of 12.99 @112mph. Im hopeing I can get that down to mid 12s.

12's is not bad at all, congrats; did you have trouble launching with those tires though?

I put drag radials on. It wasnt that difficult with them. First pass was terrible spun a lot. The last pass(the 12 second pass) I dumped it from 2300 and it actually bogged. With some more practice, Im sure I can get it down to mid to low 12s. My mph is good for low 12s Ive been told.

I am responding to my own quote -- maybe a first, or maybe we are just schizophrenic.
Anyway, didn't mean to rain on your parade with the red paint comment. I had a guards red 928GT for many years and didn't get any more tickets than with my other cars I drove too fast.
That's definitely a slick ride you've got there. Enjoy it. The Big Guy only lets us do this once.

I think most people have had a red car at least once in there lifetime. I have owned two, the one I have now is the second one, and I've been pulled over before.
Actually my problem is with cars that are white. I've been pulled over more in white cars than any other color.

Dont worry your not raining on my parade. Red wasnt my first choice(Sunset Orange Metallic is), but I couldnt turn down this car for so low of miles and the work done to it. It would have cost at least double what I paid for this car to replicate it, and then you wouldnt have the low mile car.
In mid May I plan on hitting my very first Auto cross. Im excited but Im sure I wont do to well with the 4.11 gears. Oh well.

Why not? I'm not very knowledgeable on autocross, next to none really, but wouldn't tall gears help since they're normally short courses that max acceleration would be helpful?

Yea, but first gear is worthless on the street if Im on it hard. I guess in AutoX you arent on it hard most of the time. We will see how it goes.

Ah, yeah that makes sense, it's similar for me in the Juno, with a 400 HP 1200lb car, 1st will spin them every time and runs out quick.

Sweet Formula! Looks similar to what I picked up a few weeks ago:
2001 Trans-Am WS6 M6, not heavy on the mods though, just SLP Lid and SLP Loudmouth Exhaust. Has red/black leather interior, and higher miles then yours, but still low for its year, only 55k. Here she is:

Also I have some slicks for it that I never used...well I tried to then my driveshaft snapped. On street tires I ran 13.4 while braking in bracket racing, with those slicks I would be able to get alot lower, possibly high 12's.

Nice car Lambo05Murci. Be careful putting those slicks on there if you have the stock rear end or have 2500 ready for a new one. I like the TAs that wing does make it look better, although useless.
The steering wheel looks like a big pillow. :)
I know, steering wheel is really boring.

Its not my first car though. First car that is worth a crap. Ive had a 81 Olds Omega, a 93 Lumina, a 99 Blazer(still have), and this.
I think Dave and I will be in the running for the most laughs from our first car. :lol2: (I think I remember him posting something once)
