I thought that this was being eliminated?It changed. In 2004 the min weight shifted from 6000 to 14000 for the 100k expense. For in between 6000 and 14000 the expense is maxed at 25k.

God I love my 6000lb SUV.;)

I especially love that it weighted 5800 lbs the year before, no changes were made except Lexus changed it's official weight (it's including passenger and cargo, so the manufacturer chooses the weight.)

Also pretty happy that my 435 HP hybrid gets a tax break.

GX470. Don't really like it. Rides too much like a truck, and doesn't have most of the niceties you find standard on the LS. They should have been options, which I gladly would have paid for.

That being said, the tax break was too good to give up, so I bought one in 2004.
