View Full Version : What a fanfuckingtastic day(sarcasm)
So I've got 13 guys total working for me, 2 guys are away on vacation right now, 2 guys down in Sarajevo doing some work for the Dutch contingent with one of our vehicles.
I was just told about and received today, 30 new computers that we have to distribute and setup within 8 days to 15 remote locations all over this country.
And today as if things couldn't get any worse, this happens.

So there goes 2 more guys to the hospital for a day or so + 1 less car.
:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
So I've got 1/2 the staff I need. 1/2 the vehicles I need and a shit load or work today and now I have a ton more paper work + dealing with the MPs and the local police and the insurance company.

Man, sorry to hear about that, what kind of car was that?
Fiat stilo.
Normally it's a small car, but now...it's about the size of a smart car.
Thats what happens when you get crushed between a bus and another vehicle :s

Damn man sorry to hear that. All of us who are self employed understand, when it rains, it pours.

Sucks dude.
I'm not doing so bad now. Was stressed quite a bit earlier, but the guys I've got here are a good group.
Man power is going to hurt us a little bit, but the vehicle situation really sucked, because we wouldn't be able to visit all these location in the time the client wants them in buy.
But I may have solved that
With the lack of car, i'm 99% sure i've gotten hooked up with one of these (http://www.drtofu.org/matt/Bosnia/Chucks%20Visit/images/pict0015.jpg)
Love having friends in the RAF

It's 9pm...I cant be at work.
Class 1 building goes into lockdown except for those inside or unless there is an outage that requires a SysAdmin access to the classified equipment...

Luckily with the job I have (working in a resturaunt) the problems that come up only affect me right then, and as soon as I punch out the stress goes away. It's nice. "We're out of wings!?" *punch out* "Well, good luck with that"
I used to care. Then I realized a job like that won't matter in the long run.
Just a little comparission of what the car should have looked like before it was assfucked by a bus.

Put it up for sale on auto trader, just put a type R badge on it and advertise it as having an 'l33t tailgate weight reduction mod'
Or sell it to some hippie as a "compact" car

So if anyone would have been in the back seats, they would have been killed? Are the guys out and able to work, or you give em time off?
They're off on short term dis until the end of the week. Hopefully they will be fine by Monday. The one with the ankle works in the helpdesk so he really just sits around and answers the phone all day and should be fine.
As for anyone in the back seat being dead? I dunno, severely injured yes, but I don't think it would have killed them.
Now the computer that was in the trunk...it didn't fair to well :(
It's being added to the pile that we hopefully will take to the shooting range once it gets nicer out.
