Great turn out, great to finally meet some of you, put faces to names as it were. Got some great pictures that i'll upload soon.

Had an idea while i was driving home, going 90+ on Howard Franklin trying to keep up with dave. If anyone was interested, maybe we could all meet up again some time, go for a cruise and shoot a talk lambo video. I can edit it and do all the dubbing, I can even bring out a field recording setup to get some truely awesome exhaust music. I'll need to source a good video camera that i can borrow, but that shouldn't be too hard.

I just uploaded the pictures, but my internet is acting up, so i'll link them later. In the mean time, HERE (http://www.moneytube.com/video.php?m=94200) is a video of the Carrera Gt that attended.

Okay, here are all my pics from the event, just click them to get to the large versions. Thanks very much to Mr. Vroom for driving all the way up from Sarasota, great to meet you finally and to have another (and first time for a verde ithaca) Lamborghini at the event; and for the coffee too! Good to see Matt, Zzzzdoc, IceDemon, MarkStudy and last but not least, Minch00. Did I forget anyone? Man, you guys should hear Mr Vroom's exhaust if you weren't there, it makes other cars' engines implode.

Matt, pretty nice pics from a camera phone, mine stinks. Too bad the CGT driver didn't give us a little rev for the video. :)

So today's trivia that I learned from the C&C is that the Jaguar XJ220 does not have a large engine, well at least in the cubic inch sense of the word; it has a 549 HP turbocharged V6 . Who would have ever thought such a gorgeous car, from the era it was made, would not have had some big massive engine. Pretty damn impressive horsepower for a car produced 15 years ago, and it still looks awesome today, a testament to good design. Just don't look inside, that instrument cluster looks like a Pontiac Fiero. :lol2: :lol2:

Actually i was using my fujifilm finepix f810 for those. For whatever reason though, i had my really small memory stick in it so after i took the video of the carrera leaving, i only had room for 4 pictures... DOH!

It was great to meet all you guys.

Dave, this is what happened to the best of my memory
Back when the Jaguar XJ220 was about a year or two away from Production...they(Jaguar) were driving around in a V12 race version. People stood in-line to put their orders$$$ in when a production model was anounced- Then something went wrong, and Jag produced the car with a V6 ? People paniced and tried to get there money back... and many law suits follwed.

Some people just took the car with the V6

Is was great to see the XJ220 ..... on the street it looks so long and sleek, great design.

I took a lot of great "G" photo's .....this is my favorite (love the blue-sky background)

Man I had such an awesome time today, it was great seeing you guys again, and meeting Matt. That GSE is INSANE! I've never seen a car spec'd exactly how I would do it but dammit THAT IS IT! And the XJ220 may only have a V6, but.....lets just say there are fast cars and then there is that thing.......WHOOOO!

We need to do it again real soon, how's the third Saturday in April for you guys? :D

Hell yeah, the XJ220 is supposed to have 30 HP more than the Gallardo but weigh 500 pounds less, I should have asked for a ride. :)

I thought that was funny as hell too. However, it made me wonder why someone would have their alarm on in an enviornment like that in the first place.

Are you wondering why people would have their alarms on at the car meet or in a nice neighborhood?

zzzzdoc, is your exhaust stock? your neibhors should consider it a privilage that they're woken up by one of the worlds sexiest cars :lol2: Although, you may have trouble convincing them of that.

No, it's not stock. Not sure exactly which one was put on it. It's the one that Lambo of OC uses.

Somehow they don't seem to appear privileged.

I'm pretty sure he's got an aftermarket because it's pretty loud when he rev's it up; well louder than I'd expect any factory would be able to get away with. :)

Welcome Larry!

You going to drive that silver Lamborghini wagon? :lol2:

I need to find out from Mark if the Diablo is going to be back in action before the Ft. DeSoto thing, would be cool to get all our cars together. I've got some local fcar people on Fchat that would be up for a drive/meet too, I am tentatively hoping to put something together in May/June.
