Over $500.000 raised
The one-of-a-kind Versace Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster took center stage among a star-studded charity auction event in Beverly Hills. Celebrity actress Sharon Stone, using her feminine mystique, heated up the bidding process on the super car to surpass half a million dollars and charmed the winning bidder, Vik Keuylian of Lamborghini Orange County, on stage in front of 600 VIP guests. Keuylian walked away with Stone's lipstick imprint on his face -- a token of her appreciation for his generous donation. Proceeds from the auction benefited Elton John's AIDS Foundation.

"It is remarkable that the finest Italian clothing icon, Versace; the sexiest actress, Sharon; and the champion of Italian super sports cars, Lamborghini; could collaborate together to generate a financial windfall for Elton John's medical research. We are glad we won the bid," Sossi Keuylian of Lamborghini Orange County (www.lamborghinioc.com) affirmed.

Stone was attired in a sensuous black Versace evening dress with chain detail augmenting her plunging neckline. Stone's dramatic dress matched the sexy scintillating Murcielago LP640 Roadster.

"The Versace Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster is representative of the ultra-distinct, fast and sexy Italian super car. It is unique because it is the one-and-only Lamborghini made to the custom tailored impeccable specifications of high-fashion designer, Versace," Vik Keuylian went on to explain how the interior enhancements added great value to the Versace Murcielago LP640 Roadster.

In addition to celebrity hosts Donatella Versace, Elton John, and Sharon Stone, others who actively supported the cause were Guns N' Roses, Prince, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Eva Longoria, Naomi Campbell, Tyra Banks, Mischa Barton, Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Cindy Crawford, Jada Pinkett-Smith, Drew Barrymore, Brooke Shields and Christina Ricci.

"It's incredible that all the celebrities compassionately came together to promote such a worthy cause. We are eager to do more celebrity charity events in the future," said Nora Keuylian, owner of Lamborghini Orange County. "Although this particular Lamborghini LP640 may be a collector's item, other Lamborghini models, the Gallardo and Murcielago are available for immediate delivery at our showroom in Orange County."

Those are the best pictures I've seen of that car. You couldn't really tell it was blue on any other pix floating around. I'm loving the interior. Thanks for sharing.

Did LOC donate the whole car?! That's pretty nice of them if so.

I like everything about that car save the decals on the doors and the plaque between the seats. It really is a beautifully crafted interior. Does anyone know if the color was made solely for this car? I haven't seen it before.

Yeah, the decals do have that cheesy Caesars Palace kind of feel to them. :D Probably just peel them off. At least it doesn't have the side badges, I just can't bring myself to like those. Actually I've only ever seen them on the G so maybe the Murci doesn't have that option.

Im really surprised to see a blue Versace Roadster, I thought they were only coming in coupes and in Black and White. Very hot car. BTW thanks for informing me of this site SuperVixen ;)

Love the color, but could do without the door decals.

Looks like they have it embedded into the seats already as well; that must be a one-off because the other Versace edition cars I've seen had that cross stitch pattern to them, or maybe those were not LP640's...

Well this is also a one-off Versace, so they probably pulled out all the stops to really make it different. I'm also not a fan of the ugly ass go-faster sticker on the door.

Hope they got to keep the car if they are the ones that donated the money/ bought the car

or did Lambo OC donate the LP640 for the auction?

The way I understood that, they donated the car, then... bought it back :wtf:

That actually makes sense because the MSRP on a coupe is 500k. That's all that was raised for this roadster. The Versace roadster is definitely worth more than the coupe, especially since it is literally one of a kind.

All those Hollywood mega rich celebs who claim to be there to support the cause, and none are the high bidder. Pathetic.

It's not infrequent that you see that kind of stuff too from celebs and other mega rich people. Last time I was in Vegas I was playing blackjack at Caesars, and I'm no high roller by any means, $10 or $25 tables, but I'll tip the dealer pretty regularly, they work hard and breathe smoke all day while people who would rather throw their money away do so :-) so I will tip $5 as a side bet on a regular basis. Well I blew whatever I had come to the table with after a while and the dealer was like you know, you tipped me better than a guy who was betting $20k/hand in the high roller area yesterday on his way to losing $800k but at times he had been up as much as one million! I was like jesus, if I was actually up one million dollars, you better believe the dealer is getting a huge tip.

When I did the players run a couple years ago one of our stops was in Vegas. One of the guys was playing 20k hands and lost from what i heard over 100k in 10 min.

Lambo OC will get a nice tax write off Im sure??

I'd like to think if I had that kind of money that I'd no longer enjoy gambling and would do something more charitable with it; maybe won't ever know but we'll see.
