I bought the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game on Xbox Live Arcade about an hour ago. For $5. Good times have been had by all. Which is just me.
My clients are great, never complain, always ontime with payment, rarely have to talk to them.
It's the employees(if you can call them that) of my clients that I don't like. Definitely not the brightest bunch of people, especially considering what they do.

Okay, I'll rephrase. The clients are good but one clients employee in particular right now I feel like strangling, and one subcontractor is being a dick about pricing and raised his rates, so he has cut into my profits. Prick. How dare he try to make a profit. That's my job. (That was sarcastic by the way.)
I have no problems with the employees that I have. Bribery, it works wonders.

I try to not complain about customers, they are who let me buy my toys, but what does bother me is when someone gets an attitude; do they honestly think that getting an attitude with me will somehow magically make me put forth the extra effort to resolve their issue? Nine times out of ten getting an attitude gets you an automatic several hour delay in my looking at your issue while being really cool bumps you to the front of the line.

Come up with a business model. Or do you already own a business?

I do not own a business. I'm a college kid that got fired from his job at a resturaunt two and a half weeks ago. I've just been kinda bumming around for a bit, but I've gotten bored with that and now want to do some work. For the life of me I can't think of a venture that doesn't involve at least a substantial amount of start up capital.

If you think smart you can start something without the start up capitol, or get investors to help you with the start up costs.
What kind of ventures are you interested in if you don't mind me asking.

It varies. I like providing service to people, and take a lot of care and consideration in that aspect of my jobs (hence the reason I've been in the hospitality/resturaunt industry for the past few years). I've kicked around different themed sports bars, my recent idea is a personal delivery service, like say if you need a party for 20 people, just tell me basics and I get all the required materials and set things up while you kick back and make sure your guest list won't cause problems among the invitees. But a part of me thinks that's a stupid idea and no one would use the service ever. I'd also like to be a "Car Hunter" in which you tell me what you want, for instance a red WS6 Firebird with X miles, and I do all the online research and leg work to find one and negotiate a price, with a comission of course.
I have a lot of half finished ideas, but I've been too busy with school and my job until recently to focus on them. To be honest I'd love to be working anything right now, I guess that's the gumption in me.

Themed sports bars and food things do take capitol from what I understand. I did work for an Ex-football Player with the Philadelphia Eagles for a themed restaurant, and I don't even want to think about how much money he threw down on that one location.
The Car Hunter is kinda saturated, but do able. The place to find these cars is down at the auctions. You'll need a dealers license in order to go through with this idea, but overall, this would be something that you could do in your spare time while having another job to support you, until your business takes off and provides enough income to support you full time. I know some people that PREFER this kind of work instead of working at a Car Dealership. They love the hunt and the victory when it's sold. Very rewarding.
I don't know enough about the party thing to help, sorry.
Either way, definitely look into starting a business, you (hopefully) will not regret it.

That or when people lie to your face.
me:"Well have you tried this, this and this?"
them:"yep, none of it helped"
but then when i go there and look into it, they havent done anything except pick up the phone and dial some numbers.

I get that all day long. :(
Do something you enjoy doing. Don't do it cause you think it would be cool or make a lot of money. Not to quote Donad Trump, but I aways hear him say something like "You have to have a passion for what you do, or you won't truely be sucessful". I think that's totally true.
Not everything requires 6 figures of startup money. A few hundred bucks can get you going in a lot of cases.
