That picture looks like a million bucks, although in South Africa that would be three million. :) I didn't realize it was mountainous, I had pictured it as flat like Florida.

My dad spent a lot of time in africa when he was in the air force, he loved south africa and its one of the places i've always wanted to visit. when i'm in england i chill with a bunch of guys from south africa, and they're some of the craziest but nicest guys i've met. definitly on my list of places to go.

I love South Africa. Spent some time in Cape Town and Kruger Park a few years ago. It's the first time I had Absinthe. I tried to find some at the airport on the way back, but there was none in sight. :(

I think Absinthe is illegal to bring into the country but not illegal to posses. You have to get the good stuff though with the worm wood or whatever. :crazy:

Yeah, they still sell absinthe at the local liquor store here, expensive though!

Nice pics Mike, I sure hope to make it down to South Africa some time soon, all depends on where my next contract is based out of. My current one is done in a few month and I'm heading back to Canada, but hopefully I can pick something up to get me out of there before winter comes.

probably a combination of 7.62mm and 12.7mm(50cal) rounds
As the AK(7.62) was the weapon of choice during the "cleansing"
