Lamborghini San Francisco Track Day - Save the Date - May 8

Lamborghini San Francisco is having track day at Infineon Raceway on Tuesday, May 8, 2007. Instruction will be provided by Jim Russell driving school. The past two times we had Lamborghini factory cars (Gallardo, Gallardo Spyder, & LP640) from Lamborghini for participants to autocross in and drive around the track. I don't have all the details yet, but I am assuming the same will be true this time around. We will also have a Lotus cup car for this particular event. Enrollment is open to 30 participants. You get split into two groups, experienced and non-experienced. We are inviting Bentley, Lamborghini, and Lotus owners. If you have another exotic we have made exceptions in the past. If interested please contact me right away so I may reserve a spot for you. Because of the partnership we offer discounted pricing for the day, so you save compared to signing up for the class on your own. Everyone who participates will receive a certificate of completion. Also there will be a professional photographer taking pictures and someone else for video so you can remember the day. For those of you with cold feet, driving on the track does not require abuse to tires and brakes. Students will have plenty of freedom to explore and enjoy the performance of their Bentley, Lamborghini, or Lotus to their personal comfort level. All you need is your car and we provide the rest. BTW - this is just around the corner. I will be there for sure. Not sure what I'll be driving yet, not my car though. Either a Lotus or a Lambo. :)

I think it's so cool that Bentleys came out. Some kick ass old geezers. I love it. Driving their cars like they are supposed to. If you turn the ESP off there is some serious spinning to be had too. :D I hope that's me when I grow up. The more I think about it, I think I'll be getting a Bentley GT before any Lambo. That will give the market more time for Spyders to come down in price.

I just want to get to the point where I have enough money that I can drive a Bentley hard on the track like that just for the hell of it because it doesn't matter to me. :)
