Sirus is Now Active!

Well, being bored this weekend, I decided to install the Sirius unit in my car. After about 4 hours of fighting with my car and all the carpet padding, I finally got it installed. This afternoon, I activated the account and added the Playboy Channel (hell, it's free...); who knows what they broadcast... but, we'll see.

I ran the wires through a hole that was preexisting in the SQUARE :confused: cup holders that Lexus so ingeniously designed, but, after fiddling with it today I'm going to change it to a custom mounted set up. I don't like having the wires everywhere and I like to be able to hide and the cables at the drop of a hat. I also am going to move the antennae from the trunk lid to the back deck. After washing my car today, i didn't like having the unit on the trunk as it hindered keeping the car clean (not to mention it already scratched the clear... :banghead: )

Anyhow. That's it. Not really a major mod... but, when you don't really have funds to mod, every little mod is a big one! :lol2:

I love my Sirius radio, so much so that I bought a lifetime subscription. It pains me to listen to normal radio anymore.

That's why i bought it... I was tired of listening to commercials on my way to school. Every station would be giving commercials more than music. So, off with their heads. Problem solved... I just won't listen to regular radio. I'll stick to AM and Sat.:grinning-smiley-003

Have you ever listened to Playboy Radio??? I can't begin to imagine what's on that station... :lol2:

I've got XM, the monthly fee includes being able to listen to all the stations via their website too. This is in the Avalanche of course, my no frills American car has it while my expensive cars don't have shit. :lol2:
