I tend to agree, especially when it comes to mine. :) I have Kleeman cat bypass, high flow muffler, headers, throttle body, smaller pulley and ECU. :headbang:

Just don't try to take them on a straight section longer than 10 miles. Or they'll beat you with fuel economy :lol2:

After the modifications I get about 10.5 mpg at all times, 10 mph or 100 mph. :)
My funny gas mileage story is that I did some calculations with fuel prices and maintenance and figure it costs me about 30 cents per mile to drive the G55; so a few months ago I'm driving and had a choice of whether to take a toll road ($1) or bypass it with another route that added about five miles to the trip. I went around since it was night time and there was no traffic, then afterwards I realized that was pretty stupid because driving the extra five miles cost me more than it would have to pay the toll. :lol2:

10mpg is not that bad, the arnage was close to around 7 or 8 mpg
LOL @ the toll road story :lol2:

I just hit 7500 miles; I actually drove it for the first time in over two months yesterday to move it from my old house to my new house so it could be washed. The lack of driving was not by choice, I had a flat tire and it just took me that long to get it pulled off the truck and taken in and fixed. But it's back in action now so I'll be driving it regularly again.
I was a bit concerned at first because I started it up and pulled out of the garage and there was an odd smell. When I put the garage door down I could see faint white smoke coming from the front of the hood. I popped the hood open but by that time it was gone; no weird noises or anything. I went ahead and drove it and it was fine the rest of the way so maybe it was just from having not been run or a spider built something in the engine bay somewhere, etc.
