If you haven't thought of it you need to buy a front jack? If not you might want to go to PegasusAutoRacing.com and buy a quick lift jack. It is only an inch tall so it will slide right under the front undertray.

Also, make sure you get the wheel nut remover from the previous owner, if not you will never get the wheels off given they are center lock.

Let's turn this into a thread on setting up a check list of what you need to maintain a Radical and have at the track, since JRFootin and I will probably both need to get set up. Maybe we can get Zdoc to buy one too. :)

I'm thinking:

Air compressor if you have the tools and know the track has power available (or you have a generator), otherwise don't haul it
Generator if your compressor and/or tools are electric (Honda eu1000i and eu2000i are good small & very quiet generators, but won't power greater than 3/4 HP air comp generally)
Low-profile floor jack from http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productdetails.asp?RecId=872 for the front, and any floor jack not taller than 4" will work for the back
Normal tools (wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, vise grips, allen wrenches (regular & t-handle are helpful)). All tools will need to be metric
Rivet gun and preferably long-reach rivets; helps reattach body hold downs if you pop them out. Some assorted small pieces of sheet metal and some small drill bits for a cordless screwdriver can be useful to have on hand too in case you need to put it behind a body panel to reinforce a rivet repair
Band clamps, zip ties, duct tape :), maybe other adhesives, nuts & bolts
Fire extinguisher
Race gas, preferably in conveniently sized fuel jug(s) (http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/group.asp?GroupID=FUELJUGS)
Oil and brake fluid (Don't normally change these at the track but good to have on hand)
Radical dip stick (doesn't stay in the car)
"Jump start" battery to ensure Radical is started on strong charge the first time of the event since the starter clutch can be damaged easy on a weak start (An example) (http://www.amazon.com/Schumacher-PS-120A-Mity-Mite-Starter-Charger/dp/B00030BFJW/ref=pd_sim_auto_2/103-9957089-8706209?ie=UTF8&qid=1174009656&sr=8-1)
Pads and rotors generally won't be necessary because you can change them beforehand and you'll never go through a set in one weekend
Cooler for water, lunch, etc.
Folding chair(s)
Sun screen
Spare tires (mounted), rain tires
Torque wrench (220+ lb model and center lock wheel adapter if you use center locks, otherwise typically 100 lb is fine for most wheels) or impact wrench with torque settings
Tire pressure gauge
Hearing protection
Multi meter
Wire crimps, taps, heat shrink tubing, heat gun, electrical tape
Paint marker (http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productdetails.asp?RecId=5126) for tire heat cycle and/or pressure/contact patch adjustment marking
3M Aluminum foil tape for taping over wheel weights
Pit bike (pedal, moped, pee wee 50, four wheeler, golf cart, whatever suits you, but you'll be walking your ass off getting through the pits on some tracks, like Barber)
Car electronics that you may use (Cameras, recorders, telemetry, laptop, memory cards, etc.) and a power inverter if needed
Work stuff in case you're on call :) (Laptop, phone, etc.)
Piece of wood to put under your trailer's jack stand if your trailer just has a metal post; some tracks will not allow you to have a metal post jack stand contact their pavement, so you need either a trailer with a load distributing plate, or a piece of wood.
Your wallet, always a popular one to leave without
Paperwork for wherever you're going (tech inspection form, disclaimer/liability forms, track map, car club documentation, etc.)
Keys for your trailer
Tripod if you need it for your camera
Trackside beacon & battery if your telemetry system uses one
In-car intercom if needed
Clothing for days & nights
Race suit, gloves, helmet, HANS, socks, shoes
Toiletries

As far as spare parts go:

Air filter (K&N Hyabusa works great) & filter cleaning kit
Nuts & bolts
Tail lights (you can remove the socket and bulb from behind the bodywork without removing the reflector, they twist lock into the reflector)
Worth keeping a throttle cable on hand; it's a cheap part to have although it shouldn't break, but it may stretch

Wow, this could get long. I will contribute to it later this week when not on vacation.

You'd rather ski than talk about air compressors and wrenches? :lol2: :lol2:

Greg, what are you running for coolant? The manual says 50/50 anti-freeze but PVM told me that's a no-no on most US tracks and they just run distilled water with one of two additives, I have it written down at home but I think one was water wetter or something along those lines.

I saw that the other day, didn't start a checkout to see if they ship to the US and/or convert to US $$. I'm really disappointed with the maintenance instructions that come with the Radical, or lack thereof since there are none. I'm getting parts and fluids pulled together based just on what Greg and PVM Racing have told me, nothing of use from Radical in at least the regular manual; maybe there's a maintenance manual somewhere.

Greg, I'm uncomfortable with where that quick jack has to jack up the front end; there doesn't seem to be an official jack point on the front. The front splitter I guess is a solid piece, but it's quite thick, an inch or more, and seems to intrude over the crash box bulkhead where I would think you'd want to jack it up. Even if you put the jack in as far as it will reach, you're jacking it up on the splitter; is that correct?
