Lambo of Dallas is asking $195k for the car. The color and rarity command premium but that is still too much. It was a solid car when I owned it and all ORIGINAL. Not sure if I like the new wheels. If anyone interested, feel free to contact me for historical perspectives.

At 7 months and counting, it had the making as one of the longest tenure of all of my ownership. In fact, after spending over a year searching for an Orange 6.0, I had planned to keep it for years until one day a fellow Fchatter friend called me and passionately pleaded for me to let her go.....Few days later, we parted.
Yeah, I do miss it. The picturs don't do justice how beautiful it is in person. If I can buy it back for what I sold it for a year go, I'd do it in a second.....

Man... that's a beautiful looking 6.0. I think the wheels set it off just perfectly! I also find intriguing that it's a 5-speed... I was always under the impression that Lambo's (at least newer one's) were 6-speeds. That's a beautiful machine... Just out of curiosity, but how do you know that it's one that you owned? VIN?

It is a 6 speed, that year/model didn't come with reverse :p :p

i did nothing to it other than gas and go.....as customary w/ all my purchases, i had it completely service at Lambo of Wash prior to delivery. everything was stock in the vehicle. the car was perfect. drove it for a couple thousand miles prior to letting her go....

The honest answer is YES......My 96 is undoubtedly the most fun driving experience I have ever had in a sport car. The 2wd combined w/ all the technological improvements of the II gen. Diablo makes it the best of both world.......

i had ZERO intent of selling it until that fateful day when the call came from a forum buddy w/ a passionate plead to let her go to him which i initially resisted but finally gave in but w/ the promise that i will get it back (he was a cool guy and he did offer to sell it back later but i had too many other commitments at the time to take on another car).
1- i think there were 2 owners before me (if you count the dealership).....the owner before me was a plummer who won maryland 250million dollar lottery in 2001 so that was the first toy he bought for himself.
2- mechanically, the car was ROCK SOLID when purchased but for prosperity, i had complete service done at lambo of wash dc anyway prior to delivery (not engine out). anything in need of replacement or fixing were done. new front shocks replace, new brakes, all fluids, ...... i purchased factory wing w/ factory color paint and had it shipped to lambo of wash dc for install. if my recollection serves me correctly, the bill was around $13k (wing and shocks included)
3- my memory was somewhat vaque since i've gone through about 12 cars since then....but it was hi 150's or low 160.....
the car has more miles on it now but i would love to take it back at the price i sold it....
