I think I'm ready to do it. I want to powder coat my wheels. Looking for a good place in San Francisco. I've heard of people paying between $25-$100 a wheel. I'd like to get a good price, but quality is most important. Also, two of my wheels have slight curb rash. I don't know much about powder coating, but would I need to have them fixed first? If so any recommendations in that department? Thanks in advance.

If you plan to have the wheels fixed you would definitely want to do that first as the powder coat will come right off and then you'll have to do it again.
I'm trying to find a place in Tampa that can do this type of stuff to see if it's feasible to re-blast or repair my wheels; not that they're bad, but the original place went a little light around the lug nut areas so there's a couple spots where you can see it starting to wear off from washing in the lug nut holes with stiff bristle brushes that I'd like to repair if it's not too expensive. Once I noticed that happening I started to use different cleaning tools around those areas that aren't so rough.
I think if you take your wheels to a good shop they'll take care of the curb rash for a few extra $s

try taking your wheels up to wheel works a couple blocks from you, if not there is a place in the east bay, I will have to find the name if you are interested in driving to Walnut Creek

Local is best. Do you think Wheel Works does a good job? They tried to rip me off on tires a few years ago on one of my Boxsters.

There is another place that a friend of mine deals with near SFO, i can get the name on Mon. I have never dealt with wheel works in SF, i would think if you told them you work for BMC they would help you out???

Called wheel works and they don't powder coat, nor do they know anyone that does. I prefer to stay in SF just 'cause it's hard for me to get out. Unless you, Jason, want to take my car in. ;)
