Nice.

Is your Egear or manual? How does the spyder compare to the coupe when it comes to structural integrity? In my search for an Egear, I am still back and forth b/w the G vs. the M but the G spyder is growing on me....but other than the obvious reason of it being topless, is it worth the prem?

Mine's e-gear, I'd have gone 6-speed if I expected to take it to the track often but I kind of knew when I bought it that I'd not go that often and now that I'm getting the Radical it will probably rarely see the track, e-gear is fun around town with the city driving, etc. Plus whenever you're showing your car to people they're always interested in paddle shifting like you're driving around in a video game. :)

I've never driven the coupe so I can't compare how solid the car feels but I've driven about 500 miles of laps at Sebring in the spyder and it gave no indication of there being any lack of rigidity or sloppy construction, it was rock solid.

Personally I'd go for the e-gear spyder over the Murci but I've always had a propensity for convertibles, it's just a completely different experience when you're driving around and there's nothing between you and the sky and the sounds of your car. Murci roadster would be pretty nice but it's not practical in Florida with the difficult to use rain top, the 100 mph speed limit when the top is on and then the Murci just being a larger car than I wanted. If there were a Murci spyder well then we're talking, but until then Gallardo for me. If the weather clears up this weekend I'll hook my chasecam up and get you some video of driving around with the top down.

i, too am not much of a speedster....and more of a coaster; hence, i do have affinity for topless (cars). love the look of the murci roadster but the labor intensive soft top would have driven me crazy.....and once it goes down, it would likely never have gone up ever again which isn't very condusive to our weather.
