unless you are a certified lambo mechanic, i assume this is just a preliminary sniff test. i suggest the ususal due dilligence.....review service/ownership history, check for books/manuals, examine exterior/interior conditions, check all electronic components.
if all goes well, i recommend taking it to a qualified lambo service center for a full comprehensive PPI.

What year is it? Something I learned while reading the fine print of the Lamborghini warranty manual is that if you don't notify them of the change of ownership within 30 days, by writing to Italy, they consider the warranty null and void. So if it's one that's new enough to be on warranty, look for the warranty book and make sure there are still enough change of owner cards in there for you to tear out and send.

Yes its a preview for a friend, but knowing him if it all checks out he would wire money next day. Is there anything specific I should keep an eye out for while reviewing records on these cars?
Its an 05' so I would assume the warranty is still good even though there are a lot of upgrades on it. Low miles etc.

When someone trades in a car, if it's had a lot of warranty work, we'll wholesale it. Warranty work is typically a bad sign on an exotic. Just read carefully what the car went in for and ask questions.

For those that don't buy from an actual Lambo dealer, is there a way for the general public to pull service records on a car, assuming it was serviced at a Lambo dealer?

You could call the dealer they service their car at and see if the service manager is nice enough to share any concerns with you.

How often does a car with lots of warranty work come in? Lets say X/10?

The car was perfect. A few minor rock chips here and there, no warranty work low miles, lots of carbon fiber work, mods done at SP down in LA. My friend is discussing the details with the owner and I hope he ends up getting it.

Less than 1/10. But as an authorized dealer we wouldn't carry those cars. Keeping an exceptional reputation is top priority for us. Repeat customers and referrals is what keep us in business.
