I was driving across the bay bridge this morning and came up on a new silver GT3. I have to say the car looks great on the street. It was purchased from Stead in Walnut Creek.

Was it regular or RS? Could you tell if it had a cage? I love that car.

The normal GT3 can be ordered in the clubsport package which has a cage as well. best way to tell apart would be the widess of the car. The GT3RS is 44mm wider than the standard GT3.

It was a standard GT3 with no cage.

I went to look at a silver GT3 a week or two ago at my dealer. They called me to see if I was interested - not something that I want eagerly so I left it & the timing wasn't right.

I like it but the GT3 RS is the only one I'd spend the money on, I like the cage, lexan window, wider stance, has a low-mass flywheel so it's super responsive, etc.

The one I saw looks exactly like the one in the photo. I would spend the extra cash and get the RS

This RS is kind of fun. The wheels would fit right in with David's Spyder.:)

Is that an actual RS model? Looks like it has standard 3-point belts and no cage. I do like the wheels though. Someone told me my garage looks like Halloween with the orange and black cars. :)

I think this one would sit nice next to the Gallardo. I think the cage and race seats are an option in the RS for US but standard in Euro models.
