Why is it the last time at Ayers Rock? I like any pics you can post with Ayers Rock, I like seeing Lamborghini's in front of unusual natural phenomena like that, goes well with such unique automobiles.

because Uluru (Ayers Rock) is located in the NT (Northern Territory) and until this year they had no speed limits on the open highway.

this year they introduced speed limits (and the road toll has increased by 33% :rolleyes: ), however they still don't have demerits until later this year. not sure on the system you have, but here in Oz we get 12 points on our license over 5 years, once you lose them all you lose your license for a period of time. you lose 3 points for speeding over 20mph, and instant loss of license for anything over 30mph.

so yeah, unless the impossible happens and the NT restores no speed limits, we won't be back.

Wow, we have nothing like that (no speed limits), that would have been awesome. Well there was one road up in Montana that was like that for a period of time but Americans can't handle such privileges without being stupid so I think it lasted about a year before they canned that idea.

We have a similar system with the points...

yes, if you go through a red light the govt sends you fan mail and asks you to autograph a photo they took of you for their collection.

that's cool! wish they had those things here. i'm all for red-light cameras, when you're in a car that takes off very quickly the last thing you want is a late-comer through the intersection.

Ah, yes that is true, I was thinking speed camera rather than red light, I don't like people who run lights.

speed cameras are bitches. people burn them and when they are fixed they only fix the interior so people think it is still broken. some people stop the car and spray the lens with paint which works if the camera annoys you.

I think you should move your photoshoot to January. It would be cool to meet TL members from other countries. Besides, I'll have two of my best girl friends with me and that means lots of trouble. :cool:
