The kart track is NOT for sale, they have 6 months left on the RE contract and just received investment money so they are doing well. This is the cheapest way to get your kicks between track events and for 8k you can get a brand new kart. I am getting a TAG (Touch and Go) so I won't be able to shift but it sure beats trying to hand start a shifter kart.

Right on, leme know when you are going, the track is around 15 minutes from my office. Anyone rent karts there?
Did this really require a new thread?

I doubt they rent karts Vroom, with it being a primarily private track. Wonder if there are any third party rental places. Greg told me there's a place in St. Pete that has a kart track that runs electric karts, not sure how similar those are in feel/power. I'd of course want to do some serious kart time before dropping $5k+ on a kart, might not like it. Still kind of nervous about flipping the damn thing and landing on my head too...

Damn, I did a double take on where this place was when Vroom said it was 15 mins from him and realized the part of State Rd 41 you were talking about is the Palmetto part. :lol2: I was thinking the portion of it up here in Lutz, ten minutes from me. That's cool though, I'm still ready to go whenever you are.

Lectric karts blow. A team Lambotalk kart would be fun, I would kick in for a 1/4 share, if anyone is interested. They do take some maintenance tho, so it would help if we could get it serviced at the track.

Not sure about it being considered a Kart, but my brother in law drives a Formula V. Is that the same thing, just with a different body?
On a side note, I love driving karts, but I've only done it a few times in my life. And that was on small crappy courses in Daytona Beach.

Score...
The catch is that you have to wear a pink driving suit with a bow on the back.
